This Privacy Statement explains how Cradle and NEXEA (“Organisers”,“we”, “us”, or “our”) collect, use, and share your personal information in connection with the website, application (including a mobile application), product, software, or service that links to this Privacy Statement.
This Applications Privacy Policy sets forth Organisers policy with respect to information that relates to or could reasonably be associated with an individual (“Personal Data”) and other information that is included in applications submitted to Organisers.
In our applications, we collect Personal Data relating to the founder(s) of the applicant company through different methods, such as website application, and due diligence. The data we collect include names, email addresses, telephone numbers, education, employment history and the city/country in which they live, as well as information about the applicant company, such as the name, industry, and status of the company (together with Personal Data relating to founder(s) and any other information submitted in connection with the application process, “Application Information”). In addition, as part of the Organisers application process, we record interviews with founder(s) of the applicant company, and the content, recordings and information contained in such recordings are part of the Application Information governed by this Applications Privacy Policy.
We may use your Application Information for any Organisers-related purpose. This includes, without limitation:
Subject to the exceptions described below, if your company submits an application to us, we will not share your Application Information, other than for the purpose of evaluating your company’s application. When we share your Application Information for such evaluation purposes, we will use reasonable efforts to ensure that those evaluators (whether within or outside of Organisers) agree to treat your Application Information confidentially.

You submit applications at your own risk. We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and organisational measures to protect Application Information both online and offline from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no Internet or e-mail transmission is ever fully secure or error free. In particular, e-mail sent to or from us may not be secure. After the application process has ended, we may retain your application and the information contained therein. We retain personal information in accordance with our enterprise records retention schedule, which varies by Service, business function, record classes, and record types.
We calculate retention periods based upon and reserve the right to retain personal information for the periods that the personal information is needed to: (a) fulfil the purposes described in this Privacy Statement, (b) meet the timelines determined or recommended by regulators, professional bodies, or associations, (c) comply with applicable laws, legal holds, and other legal obligations (including contractual obligations), and (d) comply with your requests.
Organisers do not knowingly collect Personal Data, or accept applications, from children under the age of 18. If you are under the age of 18, please do not submit any Application Information.
Organisers do not accept start-ups that its core business mainly operates in foreign countries. By submitting your application, you understand and acknowledge that your Application Information will be disqualified if such a case occurs.
Our application process may change from time to time. As a result, at times it may be necessary for Organisers to make changes to this Applications Privacy Policy. Organisers reserve the right to update or modify this Applications Privacy Policy at any time and from time to time without prior notice. Please review this policy periodically, and especially before you submit an application. This Applications Privacy Policy was last updated on the date indicated above.
